At the beginning of each semester, KYX conducts a Rush Week, where we invite all
brothers in Christ to come and check out our ministry and see what we are all
about. Each night of Rush Week we will be hosting a variety of events that will help you get to know us
better and to decide if you would like to pledge KYX as part of the Kappa Class.
Immediately after Rush Week and Pledge Induction, you will become a pledge of
Kappa Upsilon Chi. During your pledgeship (which lasts until your initiation at
the end of the semester), you will take part in an intense time of spiritual,
social and educational preparation for a successful time as a brother of Kappa
Upsilon Chi. Your pledge semester will be memorable, demanding, and fun, as we
exercise our fraternity motto: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens
another." -Proverbs 27:17. Since Rush Week is the beginning of all this
excitement, we would like you to come and check out what we have to offer.
Below is a detailed schedule of each night's events. Please note that the
interview is the only required event; however, it is recommended that you attend
the other events to get to know us better and to assist you in deciding if Kappa
Upsilon Chi is right for you. For the interview, please contact
Adam Burnside or any of the other officers to
schedule a time on Saturday when you will be available. Please dress in formal
attire for the interview and be prepared to share your testimony. Also
join our rush group on Facebook
and fill out our Spring Rush Information
Form to receive more
information.
